Project Preview

At USC Games, I served as Lead Producer and Technical Product Manager on the Balloon project, an investor-backed game developed from concept through a playable, production-ready milestone.

From the outset, I was responsible for building the project’s production infrastructure from scratch, establishing clear pipelines that enabled a 26-person cross-functional team across engineering, design, art, and audio to collaborate efficiently under tight timelines and evolving creative requirements.

I designed and maintained the project’s end-to-end workflow using Jira and TAPD for sprint planning, task tracking, and dependency management, and Confluence as a centralized knowledge base for technical documentation, design decisions, and production standards. This infrastructure allowed the team to operate in a true Agile environment, with bi-weekly sprints, daily stand-ups, and structured retrospectives that surfaced risks early and kept development aligned with product goals.

Beyond project tracking, I led the setup of scalable pipelines for asset integration, version control, QA, and playtesting, ensuring that creative exploration could move quickly without sacrificing stability or accountability. I coordinated cross-discipline reviews, translated high-level creative intent into executable technical tasks, and used playtest feedback and early user data to inform prioritization and iteration. By formalizing these pipelines and communication structures, I helped transform a highly exploratory prototype into a cohesive, testable product, while significantly reducing onboarding friction and improving team velocity.
